LESS – Laparoscopy

Without doubt, operative endoscopy was a revolution in surgical techniques. More and more sophisticated instruments and systems are being developed. LESS–Laparoscopy allows the combination of laparoscopic magnification via modern video technology with the ability to perform standard surgical techniques and procedures utilizing conventinal instruments. The concept of LESS-laparoscopy avoids problems with gas loss, suction or specimen removal and allows also a new era of laparo-vaginal surgery.
